I am currently living in a large apartment complex that I live in with a number of friends and we have had the privilege of working through the night with cashiering at the local McDonalds.
One of our main concerns has always been the fact that we could not afford to buy anything for our dinner table and it is only recently that we have been able to start the process of buying.
After many sleepless nights, we finally managed to find a McDonalds that has the option of paying for food through a credit card and that has a cashier who will accept it.
While the service has been fantastic, we are not always able to go out to eat because we are often away on business.
We have found it very difficult to find the right burger to go with our meal.
One day, we decided to take this opportunity to try the McDonalds delivery service that the company offers to customers in Canada and the United States.
Our plan was simple, we would get a delivery to a local McDonald’s in the area and then take a quick photo of the food before handing over our credit card information.
I have since been in contact with several local McDonald owners to discuss the possibility of using the service and they all said that they would not be able to accept it because they are not licensed to do so.
The McDonalds chain of stores has since issued a statement that they will be able accept cash payments and will also provide a cash register to customers who choose to use this service.
While we understand that the service may not be for everyone, I think that it is time for us to start getting our food back in our own hands and not have to worry about a McDonald’s paying for it.
