Walmart employee was shot by a Walmart security guard in Colorado, police say.
Walmart security guard fired shots in response to a domestic dispute between the employee and her estranged husband, police said.
According to a police report obtained by ABC News, the incident began in a Walmart parking lot at about 10:45 a.m. when the security guard was responding to a call from a woman who was reportedly “trying to break into Walmart.”
The employee was initially taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The man who lives in the residence was arrested and charged with homicide.
Police say they were called to the Walmart parking lots in nearby Aurora and Boulder.
