In the midst of a national holiday shopping frenzy, CBC News is asking Canadians to rank their favourite grocery stores in order of how much they’re worth.
The survey, commissioned by the Canadian Association of Shopping Centers, asks Canadians to rate stores based on their customer satisfaction, convenience and quality.
The survey also asks shoppers how much each store contributes to their shopping experience.
In the top five spots is the Lululemon Athletica store at the Royal York Shopping Centre in Toronto.
“We’re very happy to have this Lullemon place at our Royal York shopping centre, because they’re a great place to shop and you can find what you want at a very affordable price,” said store manager Julie LeBlanc.
She said the store is stocked with a variety of different products, including yogurts and yoga mats.
“It’s very popular with families and students.
We have a lot of yoga mats, we have a ton of yoga pants.”
The store is one of three in the GTA that are owned by the same family, and it is also one of the most popular among seniors.
This is not the first time Lulules has opened in Canada, and they have also opened in New York, Vancouver and Quebec.
In 2012, they opened at a mall in Montreal.
The store currently has more than 8,000 members, and has expanded its range to include a full line of clothing, home goods, accessories, footwear, household and outdoor products, home decor, home and garden supplies, sporting goods and home-improvement supplies.
“I’ve always been a big fan of Lulululemans, and I have always enjoyed shopping there, so it was great to be able to open in Toronto,” said LeBlanch.
Her daughter and son-in-law are also members of the store.
She said she doesn’t have any regrets about opening the store, as she loves the store and enjoys the people at the store.
“I love that they are family-owned, and that the family runs the store,” she said.
The Lululias store has been open since 1995.
