Updated Feb. 12, 2018 12:42:23The Cleveland Browns have traded receiver Jairos Byrd to the Los Angeles Rams for a third and long to get the Rams’ first-round pick, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports.
Byrd will reportedly be re-signed for the 2018 season, and the Rams have not made any official announcement.
The Browns have not announced any compensation for Byrd’s departure.
The Browns have also re-upped cornerback Chris Conte for the 2019 season, the team announced Monday.
The deal is worth a total of $9 million, per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefters source.
Bridgewater has been the team’s most productive receiver the past three seasons, catching 79 passes for 997 yards and eight touchdowns in 2016 and 79 passes and seven touchdowns in 2017.
The two-time Pro Bowler missed all of 2018 with a neck injury.
