Next Big Futures has released a new map of Australian supermarket locations and has shared it online with the public.
The company’s website showed the locations of stores including The Gourmet, Food & Wine and The Australian Outback, as well as a selection of stores in Victoria.
The new map is one of the first to be made available for the public and shows how a supermarket could be expanded or replaced if it’s not in the same location.
“With the expansion of our online shopping services, and the potential to add more locations, we are taking our time to make sure that we are putting in the best possible experience for our customers,” Next Big futures chief executive Robyn Dallam said in a statement.
“We want to ensure that every location is the same as every other location and ensure that our customers feel they are part of the family and are able to experience all of the great local options.”
The company is also looking at expanding its delivery service to include some of the locations in its current locations.
Next Big Future has also been working with the Australian Government to develop a mobile app that will allow customers to book food online and be notified when it arrives.
The app will also be able to notify customers of upcoming delivery appointments and the availability of new products and specials.
The grocery industry has been grappling with a number of problems, including a surge in online sales, which have caused a rise in price for consumers and pushed up the cost of goods.
The latest Australian supermarket survey found that more than two-thirds of Australians were dissatisfied with the way their supermarkets were being run.
