A Texas family says they were shocked to learn their loved one died after their Boeing 737 crashed while landing at a Walmart store in Lubbock.
They were shocked by the airline’s failure to disclose the crash was caused by a malfunction of its fuel system.
According to ABC affiliate KXAN, the family says it is “deeply saddened” that their loved and talented son, James, died after the plane’s fuel system malfunctioned.
“We’re shocked, and we’re saddened by this tragic accident,” the family told KXN.
But I’m glad we have the insurance money in this situation to help us.”
