A supermarket in Mongolia has opened a second store in a week after the country opened its first.
A BJS supermarket in Kyrgyzstan opened a third store last month and BJS has been pushing for more supermarkets across the world to follow suit.
“The first store opened in Kyrgies capital, Bishkek, and the second store opened two days ago in the capital, Leningrad,” BJS said in a statement.
The Kyrgystian supermarket opened with a small team on Wednesday, and is scheduled to open its third store on Sunday.
It will be the second Kyrgystan supermarket to open a third location in the last week.
Last week, the BJS store in Surgut opened with four employees and opened two more days later.
In the US, Trader Joe’s opened its second store at Walmart on April 1, with the intention of having 20 to 30 stores across the country.
Taco Bell also announced plans for its third location on April 2 in Atlanta.
