N.C. shoppers will soon be able to find a new option for a few reasons: Walmart is opening two new restaurants this weekend, and the retailer has opened a fourth location.
Both locations are in Raleigh.
According to Walmart spokesperson Jason Foyt, the restaurants at the two stores will be the first to open in North Carolinians’ backyards since 2009.
“We’re excited to welcome the first of these two new locations, and to be the new face of Walmart’s North Carolina operations,” Foyts statement said.
“We will continue to add more restaurants in the region, as our customers continue to demand our products.”
The Walmart locations, both at 9500 and 1018 West Main Street, will open to the public in the next few weeks, FoyT said.
The first two locations are located in Raleigh’s downtown area.
The third store, at 1018 Main Street and 1004 Main Street in the city’s Southside neighborhood, will be open in early 2018.
The third location will feature a larger space with a patio, a new display case with more than 80 TVs, and a restaurant.
