The supermarket chain in Israel is looking for a better supermarket location, and the owner of the Dans supermarket in the city of Tel Aviv is looking to open its first supermarket in 2018.
“Dans is very excited to open our first store, to sell its product in a more convenient location, in a better climate, and to open in Tel Aviv,” Dans CEO Avi Reiman said.
Dans started as a local family business, and is the first to offer its products in a wide variety of different locations, including in major cities like Tel Aviv and Haifa.
“We are in a unique position in Telaviv, which is a shopping center for many families.
There are a lot of things we can offer for our customers, but what we really need is the best price and the best service, and that is why we chose Tel Aviv, where our product is sold, in the best conditions,” Reiman told The Jerusalem Report.
The supermarket chain is looking at opening two stores, one in Telava and one in Yitzhar, and a third store in the nearby Negev desert, to provide fresh food for its customers.
The new location is located on the corner of Shavat and Sholom streets, and will be a major boost for the local economy, as it will allow Dans to expand its business in the Tel Aviv market, and attract more customers to the store, Reiman added.
Dads Foodstore is a subsidiary of the Israeli food-processing company Dans, and has been operating under a joint venture with a local company, which was established in 2014.
Dans currently has 10 stores in Israel and the United States.
According to Dans owner Avi, the store will be able to serve around 500 customers per day.
“It’s important to us that the store is convenient and well-located.
We are looking forward to expanding our products and our operations, as well as to serving the residents of Telavaviv,” he said.”
As we have a good customer base in TelAviv, we are looking for more customers and we will continue to work with Tel Aviv to expand our stores,” he added.
